MPP & DPA/ATACH to Host Receptions

Attorney Andrew Sacks of Sacks Law, LLC and the Billion Dollar Lawyers Association will have an event-filled week after receiving invitations to receptions hosted by the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) and the American Trade Association for Cannabis & Hemp (ATACH) with the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA).

The MPP event will take place on July 24th at the Union League of Philadelphia and will be a fundraising reception. The goal is to fund the implementation of new marijuana laws, raise money to help pass future legislation being formed in Delaware and Maryland, and generally raise awareness of the importance of legalizing medical marijuana products across the country. Democratic Congressman Earl Blumenauer of Oregon will be honored as a prestigious guest for the evening as a thanks for his work in marijuana policy reform that has been steadfast for four decades.

The second event will be a welcome reception hosted by ATACH with DPA at the popular BOP Restaurant in Philadelphia on July 25th. New members and veterans of these forward-thinking groups will be welcomed and introduced to the projects to come. As the only lawyer in Pennsylvania that belongs to ATACH, it is an honor for Attorney Andrew Sacks to be invited to the reception. Many congressmen, Attorney Generals and famous Marijuana CEO’s will be in attendance.

The Drug Policy Alliance utilizes its advocacy branch, Drug Policy Action, to lobby for new, improved, and constitutionally fair drug and marijuana laws. By grounding their work and policies in the science of safe medicinal drug use, DPA hopes to advance human rights, gain the trust of the commonwealth, and help the careers of political figures that understand and support these same principles.
